Having restricted his practice to this area of the law has allowed Michael to become very knowledgeable and efficient. And although he is not specifically a tax lawyer, he has a thorough understanding of the impact of tax law on estate planning. You will find Michael to be caring and friendly, and he makes house calls if requested. He holds degrees from Queen’s University, the University of British Columbia, and the London School of Economics.

Mary-Ann has worked in law since 1980. Her career started as a legal secretary for the Crown Counsel of British Columbia and finding that was not a great fit decided to pursue other areas of law. She was fortunate to work for a large downtown law firm and became a Para Legal in the area of Conveyance, Corporate and Commercial Law. After a time at home to raise her three daughters she decided to venture back to the world. Brushing up on her knowledge Mary-Ann settled on the area of Wills and Estates. She has a calm, compassionate approach to her work and feels this fits well with this area of law. She is fortunate to work part time in West Vancouver for Michael as his assistant. Mary-Ann has always lived in North Vancouver. She enjoys spending family time with her husband and three grown daughters.
